FILIPINO FAMILIES NOWADAYS POSSESS/LOVE/ENJOY THE FOLLOWING...
1. It all starts with the stomach. Filipino families, while having an authentic cuisine, also love to have a fusion of different dishes while using its authentic recipe. In every family, there is this secret recipe that is past on to their children and then their grandchildren and so forth, which later becomes a source of income for the family.

Sinigang, kare-kare, & adobo would be the other authentic cuisine that every Filipino family have on their dining table. It is never missed out on that's why they say that no matter where a Filipino goes his stomach/appetite will remain Filipino.
2. Eating together as a family will always be a trademark of Filipinos. Prayer before meals and waiting for each other to sit down on the table is a sign of value and respect for each member. What makes this unique is that Filipinos don't only do this on special occassions but as much as possible everyday, at least during dinner meals.
3. Sunday Mass has always been a tradition for Filipinos. It is a day that they offer themselves wholly to God. Members of the family also bring their love ones outside the family such as the boyfriend/girlfriend. After will be followed by lunch.

4. Mall on weekends. Strolling around the mall, eating out with the family, taking the kids to Timezone and more are some things Filipino families do on weekends.
5. Food Delivery or takeouts. Before food deliveries aren't the thing yet but now families would rather order pizza from Yellow cab, Brooklyn,Pizza Hut & etc. for lunch, snacks, and group gatherings.
6. Watching DVDs at home. Instead of going to a movie house, many families would prefer to stay on the budget so instead they go to a ''dvd market'' to buy a movie that will only cost P50-P100 compared to spending P100+ per head.
7. Road/Beach Trips on holy week or holidays. Unlike before, Filipino families are now heading out of town to celebrate 'no school and no work' days on a holiday and holy week. The highways in the Philippines are expected to be a bumper to bumper traffic on these occasions.
8. Several Parties & Reunions in a year. Filipino families are very hospitable just like before but in this new generation they have gone extravagant to celebrate New Year's Eve and other occassions.
Extravagance= Decorations, themes, cocktails, alcohols, loud music and abundant food.
9. Migration. The colonial mentality among Filipinos is still alive. Filipino Families still try to migrate to Canada, New Jersey, and other countries to pursue a ''good earning'' dream.
10. Non Stop Picture Taking. Filipinos just love cameras! Wherever they go, whatever they are doing, whenever it is, they wouldn't forget to capture every moment even if they're just walking down the street.
11. Ham & Queso De Bola. Simple pleasures in life for Filipinos is the Ham & Queso De Bola during Noche Buena.
12. Cellphones. Every member of the family has this. Starts from a 6 year old and up.
13. Facebook. Every family member has an account even the parents seem to enjoy it!
14. Western Fashion. Topshop, Zara, Topman, Quicksilver, Lacoste and so on are the new trends of every family today. Everyone wants to be in!
15. Church Community. Bukas Loob Sa Diyos, Family Encounter, Couples for Christ and etc are joined by many families today. Truly religion is still an essential foundation for every FILIPINO family.
